What a wonderful time was had at the PPNC  Western meeting this past weekend. A sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway is always special, even for those of us who live here. How great were the Apple Cider Doughnuts? Apparently very good considering how long they lasted. I hope everyone was able to visit Mountain Fresh Orchards for more great Apple-themed baked goods.

The speakers were great on Sunday starting with Chris Garner showing us how to create very sellable Sports Composites. The afternoon class was a mind filling, brain-busting lighting program by Adrian Henson. Our special guest Miss Hendersonville, Kathlene Beam, was an excellent model. Finishing the Sunday learning was Cathy Anderson showing us how she creates her exquisite nighttime images.

Monday was all about creating beautiful portraits with Randy McNeilly. From his beautiful studio to his inspirational portraits, the day left us ready to up our game as Professional Photographers. The day also left us full of some great BBQ from Flying Pig! Wow, what a day. But the whole weekend would have been for nothing without all who attended. The members who participated in the meeting gave it meaning.

So thank you to the speakers and to all who attended. You made the Western Meeting Great!
